By treating the soil around your home this makes it inhospitable for the termites and they will die off by dehydration.  Find a pesticide that uses fipronil, this ingredient is highly effective against swarming and colony types of pests just like ants and termites.  Termidor is excellent because it can be used as a foaming agent for under concrete slabs, it can be used to fill trenches when using the perimeter treatment of your home.  It can also be sprayed as a spot treatment inside your home, making it very cheap and versatile to use.
